Unfortunately, I'm not that clever, the 'eye' of the cat is actually one of the windows of the house seen through the pumpkin. It's only one pumpkin, I carved the cat on one side and the house on the other.

[...] I’ve not knitted a great deal this week as the weather has been ridiculously hot for the UK. But I have made myself a long necklace, bracelet and earrings from some green chinese beads I bought in London at The Bead Shop on Tower Street. I was given some gift vouchers for the local bead shop so I bought extra beads, charms and the chain to make the jewellry with my voucher. I had some credit on the voucher left over so today I bought these wonderful blue beads which I plan to make into a long necklace to match my blue shoes of happiness. [...]

Hi Beth, thank you for the comment I'm based in Salisbury, Wiltshire Uk and it seems from your blog that you are in Colorado so I'm not sure if there is a Salisbury near you in the US? If you are coming to the UK then we'd be happy to have you at the knitting group. Please message me on Ravelry and we'll arrange it ;o)

Hi Kirsten,
I would suggest that you join Ravelry a website for knitting and crochet as if you find the Aeolian pattern on there you will find many helpful hints and tips for knitting it. It would be difficult to say what you've done wrong without seeing your knitting. I did sometime miss out yarn overs so maybe you have done that?
Good Luck with it!!
